It is at the heart of the industry during a critical time for technological acceleration that he has forged many important long-term relationships with our customers, offering knowledge and guidance during a time of exceptional change.
This is a space that requires impeccable customer service and meticulous attention to detail, and he achieves this through excellent and strong working relationships across every area of the organisation, from his service colleagues to logistics, finance and administration. “Rising to every customer challenge is critical to our culture at Canon Medical,” he explains. “Our teams and specialist support network, both here in the UK and globally, are absolutely world class and this is reflected in the relationships with have with our clinical partners.”
But it’s the ever-changing nature of Canon Medical’s technology which keeps Alistair truly engaged and excited. “I’ve been in medical imaging for nearly 40 years and it’s constantly innovating,” he says. “It’s extremely satisfying to work in a field where I’m always immersed in learning. It’s all I’ve ever done and all I ever want to do.”
To relax, Alistair spends quality time with his wife and three children. He also enjoys outdoor sports and can often be found practising his techniques on the ski slope, golf course or football pitch.
