Canon Medical Systems’ Popular Educational Events Gained Glowing Reviews

Canon Medical Systems continues to focus on the provision of education opportunities by taking to the road again in 2018 and bringing a series of educational events across the UK.

We were delighted to offer the following educational opportunities:

  • Canon Aquilion Large Bore User Group
  • Canon Ultimax-i User Group: Advanced Practice & Beyond
  • Six Canon Ultrasound educational events covering a multitude of topics

At our Aquilion Large Bore User Group, presentations were delivered in Birmingham, by Canon Aquilion Large Bore Users covering a variety of topics relating to their experiences using the system and current practice. The presentations included experiences on system commissioning, looking at the 1st UK Dose survey from radiotherapy planning CT scanners, changing reconstruction algorithms without impacting on treatment planning doses and improving the image quality in head and neck imaging.

Our ultrasound events were available to all ultrasound enthusiasts and hosted in Stirling, London, York, Belfast, Cardiff and Manchester. The programme for each educational event was unique and covered the very latest ultrasound innovations and clinical topics in either radiology or womens health.

The Canon Ultimax-i User Group held in Manchester, welcomed a variety of esteemed speakers from all fields in Radiology, focusing on the Ultimax-i. A diversity of topics were presented, ranging from Interventional to Oncology, and Medical Physics to Advanced Practice.

Mark Hitchman, Managing Director at Canon Medical Systems says, “Customer service is key to Canon’s philosophy and as part of our support for our users and potential users we are pleased to offer educational events that enhance their knowledge and skills. In the past we have enjoyed an excellent response to our educational road shows and this year we have extended the number of venues we visit.” Mark Hitchman continues, “The study days are free to our existing and potential customers and together with the clinical programme, this is part of our Applications for Life policy.”
