Ultrasound Clinical Applications Specialist

South East

We have a fantastic new opportunity for a motivated, passionate individual to provide clinical applications support to new and existing Canon Medical Systems customers and to promote the full range of Ultrasound and other associated equipment nationally but primarily in the South East region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote the range of Canon Medical Systems Ultrasound equipment in demonstrations and presentations to stakeholders
  • Collaborate with Sales Specialist to build and develop relationships with customers and stakeholders
  • Provide training in the use of Canon Medical Systems Ultrasound equipment to clinical users

 

Key Tasks:

  • Supporting demonstration of Canon Medical Systems’ full Ultrasound product range
  • Responsible for feeding back prospect-related information to Sales Specialist
  • Responsible for organising your own work schedule and being flexible in providing support in other sales areas if required
  • Responsible for arranging and assisting with customer training on-site post sale, and in accordance with our Applications for You policy
  • Organising and supporting area customer training courses and assisting other territories throughout the UK when required
  • Possessing a strong understanding of the company’s products, the competition in the industry and positioning
  • Attending exhibitions, lectures and study days in the UK and overseas when necessary
  • Supporting on-site visits with service engineers when required
  • Reporting to Sales Specialist and Regional Sales Manager any information on competitors, new products and new techniques
  • Reporting any current product or technique related problems to Area Sales Specialist and Regional Sales Manager, in accordance with Company policies
  • Recording customer training in accordance with Company policies
  • Responsible for keeping clinical knowledge up-to-date
  • Responsible for keeping up-to-date with current product developments
  • Using the CRM system in accordance with Working Standards
  • Any other task(s) as may from time to time be required by the business

 

Experience/Qualifications Required:

  • Qualified Radiographer – degree or DCR
  • Postgraduate, or equivalent, qualification in medical ultrasound
  • 3 years’ modality-specific experience with time spent on modern technology at Senior Sonographer level
  • Must hold current HCPC registration
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience of delivering results in capital medical sales or applications
  • Exceptional communicator with demonstrable presentation skills
  • You must enjoy challenging work and have the ability to adjust to different working circumstances
  • This role will require travel during the working week
  • Must hold a valid driving licence
  • Must hold proof of right to work in the UK

Learning & Development Assistant

Dinnington – Hybrid working available

Due to expansion we have an exciting new opportunity for an enthusiastic, passionate individual to join our HR team as Learning & Development Assistant. You will assist the L&D team in delivery of Learning and Development Services with responsibility for overseeing and management of our Astute and Skillstation software.

The Role:

Duties will include:

L&D Support

Supporting the L&D Manager with the co-ordination and administration of our learning and development programme, including:
• Assisting with L&D related projects and the administration of the L&D strategy.

• Administration of enrolments on the e-learning platforms – Astute/LMS – specifically new starters, health and safety and compliance training. Includes updating of training records/skills matrices, reporting and analysis of attendance.

• Arrange the booking of trainers, venues, travel accommodation and facilities for L&D events

• Organisation of training courses in line with the L&D programme in conjunction with the L&D Manager

• Assisting with identification and coordination of training and development needs within the organisation through the personal review processes.

• Responsibility for roll-out of mandatory training programme in accordance with SOP0066

• Maintain up to date training records for all staff

• Population of SkillStation with relevant onboarding and induction data for all staff and all records management within the software

• To be the lead Adminstrator for LMS

• Knowledge of Astute. The L&D Assistant will take the lead for this system therefore knowledge of software systems and the management of, is essential.

• Knowledge of Oracle Fusion and to be a single point of contact for queries on the performance module

 

Experience/Qualifications Required:

    • Good standard of GCSE/A Level education with excellent written and spoken English
    • Excellent computer skills – including MS Office, management of databases and software management
    • Aptitude for technology/databases
    • Great attention to detail
    • Demonstrable process and organisation skills
    • Mindset for project methodology
    • Team focussed
    • To be an ambassador of the HR Department by ensuring behaviours, values and attributes reflect the highest standards of the Company.
    • Must hold right to work in the UK

 

This role will be on a 12 month rolling contract pay-rolled via a recruitment agency, please contact us for more information on this.

Ultrasound Sales Specialist

We have a fantastic new opportunity for a motivated, enthusiastic individual to promote and sell Canon Medical Systems range of Ultrasound equipment to the South East region, and provide support to existing customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To achieve agreed sales targets within the designated area
  • To maintain contact with the Regional Ultrasound Manager and the Sales Support team on a daily basis.
  • To identify current and future prospects via Salesforce.
  • To maintain records of prospects and sales information via Salesforce and keep Applications colleagues up to date.
  • To provide a regular feedback of marketing information to the Regional Ultrasound Manager.
  • Attendance at exhibitions and meetings in the UK, and outside the UK, as and when necessary.
  • To assist and advise in the preparation and submission of EU Tenders.
  • To prepare and complete responses to NHSSC and other requests related to individual prospects.
  • To manage customer visits and demonstrations in designated sales area.
  • Any other task(s) as may be required by the business.

Experience/Qualifications required:

  • Educated to degree level with good written and spoken English.
  • Two years’ track record of delivering results within a similar role.
  • Computer literacy is essential.
  • A valid UK driving licence is essential.
  • An enhanced DBS Disclosure is required for this position.
  • Must hold proof of right to work in the UK.

Please note this role will require considerable travel during the working week. You must enjoy challenging work and have the ability to adapt to different working circumstances.
