Account Manager CT-MR-VL-XR-HIT

We have an exciting vacancy for a motivated, passionate individual to join a high performing team, representing and promoting Canon Medical Systems (CMSUK) range of CT/MR/VL/XR & HIT products within the South West & Wales territory.

Key Responsibilities:

Territory Management

  1. Create territory management plan to achieve agreed order intake target within the designated territory. Identify current and future prospects and deploy resources efficiently.
  2. Ensure that CRM records are maintained for all accounts, installed base of CT/MR/VL/XR & HIT systems, contacts and opportunities in the territory.
  3. Plan diary appointments to ensure that the highest number of customer contacts can be maintained across all accounts in the territory. The expectation for a typical working week is that a minimum of three days of customer facing activities are planned with multiple customer meetings scheduled in each location visited.
  4. Proactively organise regular territory review meetings with Regional Sales Manager.
  5. Assist in other territories when needed as directed by the Regional Sales Manager.

Opportunity Management

  1. Maintain an ongoing rolling forecast for the AM territory. Communicate progress against this forecast on a weekly basis to the Regional Sales Manager.
  2. Demonstrate leadership across all work streams in the sales process (relationship building, presentations, site visits, demonstrations, system configurations, buildings projects, negotiation and closing).
  3. Monitor, analyse and communicate information to colleagues about all aspects of each opportunity to maximise competitive advantage.
  4. Apply sales tools and agreed working practices deployed by sales management team under the CMSUK Quality system to maximize the success rate (sales process and checklists, DMU tool, handling objections closing tool etc.).
  5. Ensure that all commitments made to customers during the sales process are communicated to colleagues via the PCF and order placement process so that high customer satisfaction can be achieved when equipment is delivered.

Relationship Management

  1. Manage account relationships and customer satisfaction within the territory, working collaboratively with the local service team and modality specialists to achieve this. Participate in appropriate escalation via the complaints system where appropriate.
  2. Ensure that appropriate communication is maintained with project managers, modality specialists and clinical applications colleagues during the sales process and the project delivery phases.
  3. Engage with Commercial Solutions team where business development opportunities arise.

Marketing & Brand Management

  1. Participate in the marketing activities and any opportunities to promote the CMSUK brand in the AM territory in conjunction with Regional Sales Manager and the Marketing team
  2. Actively participate in PR stories / photographs in collaboration with the Marketing team.
  3. Participate in a rota of attendance at exhibitions and meetings in and outside the UK, as and when necessary.
  4. Arrange customer appointments and maximise impact at the main radiology events annually (UKIO, ECR, and RSNA).

Personal Development

  1. Maintain product and industry knowledge at a level defined by BE management to enable the AM to compete successfully in the UK marketplace. This includes participation in events organised by BE management to maintain knowledge at an appropriate level.
  2. Any other specialist responsibilities as agreed with the Sales Management Team.
  3. Take responsibility for personal development in conjunction using the knowledge and skills framework and personal review feedback.

Experience/Qualifications required:

  • Minimum of an undergraduate level of education, (or equivalent), with excellent written and spoken English.
  •  Sales experience in the healthcare sector or clinical background with a strong appetite for a commercial role.
  • Demonstrably competent in the use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and email systems, with understanding and experience of using CRM tool.
  • Salesforce Experience (desirable)
  • Holds valid proof of right to work in the UK and a valid driving licence.

We have a fantastic new opportunity for a Project Manager ideally located along the M3 Corridor.

The Project Manager role is field based and is responsible for planning, executing and finalizing projects in accordance to strict deadlines and within budget. In doing so ensuring each project is delivered on time, in full, to the highest possible standard. The Project Manager role will include on-site attendance for meetings, site checks, monitoring/managing building contractors, deliveries, project progress updates and administrative duties that is required to support each project. Duties allocated to the project manager will be used to develop the professional skills required to function independently and go on to manage suitable projects within the business.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE

The primary responsibilities of the Project Manager role are set out below, however the priorities of the business will determine what level of focus is to be applied to the different tasks, as determined by the Technical Manager – Projects or Head of Projects and Installations:

  1. Take ownership for project realisation related to timescales and budgets with all  Main Stakeholders.
  2. Commit to learning and applying company policies, SOP’s, Work Instructions (WI’s) relating to Projects and Site Management.
  3. Personal development to ensure good foundation of project methodologies (PRINCE2), tailoring this methodologies to suit CMSUK environment. Developing skills in the use of project tools i.e. Microsoft Project 2013.
  4. Gain an understanding of CDM2015 – Key Roles and Responsibilities.
  5. Develop knowledge and qualification in H&S Management – (SMSTS Qualification)
  6. Ensure all allocated projects are managed within Salesforce (COMPASS) and kept as accurate as possible to demonstrator a transparent picture of where each project is within its lifecycle.

KEY FUNCTIONS

  • Responsible for all project management documents allocated to them.
  • Acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third parties OEM’s in-line with the project plan.
  • Managing Canon appointed builders for pre-installation building works to agreed timelines and quality standards.
  • Responsible for carrying out the planning, development and presentation of a project’s ‘Programme of Works’ using Microsoft Projects.
  • To support and advise regional sales, customer service personnel in effective and proper project management.
  • To carryout site surveys and write, appropriate RAMS for each project allocated.
  • Supporting the Technical Manager – Projects and Contracts Manager – Projects in respects to CMSUK improvement of projects.
  • Manage allocated projects with support from the Projects Leadership Team in-line with the company’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and Work Instructions (WI’s).

MEASURES (KPI)

  • COMPASS – Project Tracker Management.
  • Management of ALL auditable Project Documents pertaining to CMSUK Projects – Issuing to Projects Coordinator by deadlines provided.
  • Issue Stage Reports to Technical Manager – Projects during life cycle of each project supported.
  • Successful completion to manage CMSUK Projects.
  • Calendar management – Outlook
  • Customer feedback

PRACTICAL EXPERIENCE

  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Experience of construction works and understanding of construction principles
  • Ability to organize both internal and external parties.
  • Ability to manage conflicting priorities and take decisions in ambiguous situations.
  • Ability to improvise, prioritise and to organize both internal and external parties.
  • Ability to provide structured and detailed plans, attention to detail.
  • Ability to be able to positively influence cross-functional teams to ensure successful outcomes for high value installation projects with key customers.
  • Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills.

Experience/Qualifications required:

  • Good standard of general education with good written and spoken English.
  • Competent in the use of Word, Excel, Powerpoint, email systems with understanding and experience of using CRM tool.
  • Working towards a recognised qualification in Project Management – PRINCE2 Practitioner Certified
  • Skilled in use of Microsoft Projects
  • Understanding of CDM Requirements and Building Regulations
  • Understanding of simple Contractual Agreements / Contracts
  • Previous supervisory experience desirable ( Construction supervisory experience – beneficial.)

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Support regional sales and clinical support activities ensuring modality financial targets are met
  • Supporting presentations and demonstrations of Canon’s full modality and associated equipment range
  • Attendance at exhibitions and lectures in the UK and abroad when necessary, to collect information on competitors’ development and new techniques as approved by Modality Manager and Clinical Applications Manager
  • To assist with the preparation of EC Tenders and NHSSC and other framework responses related to individual prospects as directed by Clinical Applications Manager.
  1. Delivery of company values and maintenance of key relationships (internal and external)
  • To maintain contact with the modality teams and regional sales teams on a day-to-day basis.
  1. Deliver modality training for Sales and Specialist teams
  • Training of UK sales team on new products and techniques and, when necessary, advising of Service Engineers in product functionality and image appreciation

  1. Follow and complete relevant processes
  • Completion of reports utilising Compass, in accordance to agreed management policies
  • To maintain records of all the above activities and sales information, and other procedures described by management under ISO9001/ISO12001 processes.

Experience/Qualifications Required:

  • Qualified Radiographer – degree or DCR
  • 3 years modality specific experience with time spent on modern technology at Senior Radiographer level
  • Exceptional communicator with demonstrable presentation skills
  • Computer literate
  • Must hold current HCPC registration
  • Must hold valid proof of right to work in the UK and a valid driving licence
  • An enhanced DBS Disclosure will be required for this role.
