Level 1 Ultrasound Field Service Engineer

South East

We have an exciting new vacancy for a Level 1 Ultrasound Field Service Engineer to join our team covering the South East region.

Field based, this is a customer facing role that services, installs, maintains and modifies Canon Medical Systems equipment within the regional area, occasionally providing support to other regions throughout the United Kingdom and across Europe.

As part of the field engineering team, this role provides both onsite and telephone support to Canon Medical Systems customers.

Working individually and as part of a team this role is key in ensuring customers’ needs are met and equipment has the maximum possible uptime in line with business performance indicators and ISO quality management systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • To perform planned preventative maintenance on equipment.
  • To plan and book your own maintenance visits with customers.
  • To carry out adjustments and log retrieval on systems.
  • To attend pre-diagnosed level 1 breakdowns and parts replacements.
  • To carry out proven level 1 FMI’s within the required deadlines.
  • To carry out proven level 1 software updates within the required deadlines.

 

Experience/Qualifications required:

  • Good general standard of education, with excellent written and spoken English.
  • Engineering qualification (ONC level is desirable) or equivalent experience.
  • A valid driving licence.
  • Must hold proof of right to work in the UK.
  • Successful Disclosure and Barring checks (formally known as CRB checks) at basic level.

Learning & Development Specialist

We have a fantastic opportunity for a motivated, passionate individual to join the HR team as a Learning & Development Specialist to support the HR Director in handling learning and development within the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Development of L&D Strategic Programme in conjunction with the HR Director to maximize L&D budget and return on investment
  • Responsible for compliance of Learning and Development activities to deliver positive audit outcomes as set out in the Training standard operating procedure [number]
  • Design of blended learning solutions to generate a culture of high performance through encouraging self-directed learning and a mindset of continuous improvement
  • Promote organisational development through role analysis and generation of new roles/functions in consultation with business managers
  • Responsible for delivering the Performance Management and Talent Development systems (Oracle Fusion)
  • Identification and co-ordination of training and development needs within the organisation through consultation with HR Director and business managers as outlined in SOP-0124 (Training)
  • Design of employee orientation programmes (new starter; new line manager; change in role; company induction and quality programme
  • Establishment of line manager development programme in conjunction with the HR Director
  • Collaborate closely with CMSE on European learning initiatives

 

Experience/Qualifications required:

  • Good standard of general education with good written and spoken English
  • Qualification or equivalent specialist experience of learning and development
  • Competent in the use of MS Office
  • Track record of providing exceptional learning and development support in a process driven environment
  • Must have a governance/compliance mindset to minimise risks and identify gaps
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Must be self-directed and able to work independently
  • Ability to communicate, influence and collaborate at all levels within the organisation
  • Literate in IT systems and databases (experience with Oracle Fusion/Delta-net desirable)
  • Minimum CIPD Certificate in Human Resources Level 3/or L&D equivalent
  • Must hold proof of right to work in the UK and driving licence

Marketing Events Manager

We have a fantastic new opportunity to join our Marketing team as Marketing Events Manager.

The main responsibilities of the role are:

  • To manage and report on all face to face and virtual events such as exhibitions, study days, educational events, sponsorships, internal events
  • To measure and monitor the return on investment through Compass and to provide debriefs on all events and identify areas for improvement
  • Drive promotion of all events through the website and social media
  • Delegate actions to Marketing Events Co-ordinator
  • To manage all events enquiries through the events inbox 

Key Responsibilities:

To manage all company events, including project set up and planning, reporting, administration, campaign management, digital marketing and ROI for:

  • Exhibitions
  • Internal events
  • Roadshows
  • Study days
  • Sponsorships
  • Press Conferences

 

  • To update events pages within marketing plans
  • To analyse all events and make recommendations for future attendance
  • To collaborate with other stakeholders across the business to agree events plan and deliver events
  • To work with and delegate to the Marketing Events Co-ordinator
  • To work with external agencies where required to deliver events
  • To be a brand ambassador for Canon Medical Systems Ltd
  • General marketing administration as required
  • Leads generated from all events are processed, followed up and analysed
  • Generate new and creative ideas across all events
  • Make recommendations and implement improvements to the current process
  • To provide Marketing support to the department on an adhoc basis when required
  • To develop event plans for all events 

Experience/Qualifications Required:

  • Qualified Radiographer – degree or DCR
  • 3 years modality specific experience with time spent on modern technology at Senior Radiographer level
  • Exceptional communicator with demonstrable presentation skills
  • Computer literate
  • Must hold current HCPC registration
  • Must hold valid proof of right to work in the UK and a valid driving licence
  • An enhanced DBS Disclosure will be required for this role.

Requirements for all engineers:

  1. Use of OSC (oracle service cloud)
  2. Use of FIX’s/ COMPASS
  3. Parts handling
  4. Able to demonstrate strong customer facing skills.
  5. To work within and to the guidelines set out in the working expectations document.
  6. To follow the escalation process as per SOP-0268 Service Call-outs.
  7. To follow all relevant safety procedures and to ensure health and safety training is up to date at all times.
