We have an exciting opportunity for an Ultrasound Sales Specialist to join our team in the Midlands. If you are experienced sales professional in the healthcare sector or possess a clinical ultrasound background with an appetite for a commercial role, then we would love to hear from you!

 

About the role:

Our team of experienced Sales Specialists play an integral role in securing sales for our full range of diagnostic Ultrasound equipment and enabling us to grow as a leader in the medical imaging space.

As one of our Ultrasound Sales Specialists, you will be responsible for achieving agreed sales targets for your region. This a field-based role so will involve regular travel across your region and the ability to manage your own diary and commitments. Your commercial acumen and business development mentality will enable you to thrive in this role, as you will identify new business opportunities, including new markets, new customers, or new partnerships. As a result, you will create strategies to successfully reach these opportunities and build excellent relationships with customers to understand their needs. You will be responsible for the continued care and commitment of existing customers in the marketplace.

In this role, you will work in close partnership with your dedicated Clinical Application Specialist, who will be responsible for providing clinical applications support on the full Ultrasound portfolio. By collaborating with your area’s Clinical Applications Specialist, you will be able to ensure your customers’ requirements are met and ensure we remain competitive in the industry.

What are we looking for?

  • You will either be an experienced sales professional in the healthcare sector or possess a clinical ultrasound background with an appetite for a commercial role.
  • Excellent understanding of NHS procurement.
  • Pro-active, driven approach with the ability to work independently and as part of team.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and capable of building strong working relationships.
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), with demonstrable presentation skills.
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to different working circumstances.
  • Excellent organisation and planning skills.
  • Competent in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and email systems.
  • Full UK Driving License and comfortable travelling across the region, with overnight stays when required.
  • Valid right to work in the UK.

Here at Canon Medical Systems, we have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and driven individual to join our team as a Clinical Applications Specialist in Ultrasound. This role will be primarily based in the South East region, but will involve occasional travel nationally. We are looking for the successful individual to be based south of the M25, covering Kent, East Sussex, West Sussex and Hampshire, etc.

Our team of dedicated Ultrasound Clinical Applications Specialists are a key foundation to our success in delivering on our healthcare commitments and promises.

As one of our Clinical Applications Specialists, you will be responsible for providing clinical applications support to new and existing Canon Medical Systems customers. Your clinical ultrasound knowledge will be integral to this role, as you will provide comprehensive training to clinical users and promote our range of Ultrasound equipment in demonstrations and presentations to stakeholders. Extensive training on our Ultrasound products will be provided, and your enthusiasm for learning and passion for ultrasound will be key to your success in this role.

In this role, you will work in close partnership with your area’s Sales Specialist to achieve agreed sales targets by building strong relationships with customers and stakeholders. You will also represent the company at exhibitions, study days and lectures in the UK and overseas when necessary.

  • Radiographer (degree or DCR), with a Postgraduate, or equivalent, qualification in Medical Ultrasound.
  • At least 3 years’ clinical ultrasound experience.
  • Must hold HCPC registration.
  • Exceptional communication skills (both verbal and written), with demonstrable presentation skills.
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to different working circumstances.
  • Excellent organization and planning skills.
  • Pro-active approach with the ability to work independently and as part of team.
  • Capable of building strong working relationships.
  • Competent in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and email systems.
  • Full UK Driving License and comfortable travelling nationally.
  • Valid proof of right to work in the UK.
