About the role:

Due to expansion we have an exciting new opportunity for an enthusiastic, passionate individual to join our Marketing team as Marketing Events Executive. You will be working in a dynamic and experienced Marketing team for a global brand where you will have exposure to all areas of our business and work with industry leading experts.

As our Marketing Events Executive, your primary responsibility will be to lead on the  planning, design and execution of our internal and external company events. This will include large industry leading exhibitions, such as UKIO and BMUS as well as, study days, sponsorships, press conferences, digital events and education. This is an important role for our business in helping to ensure we can effectively manage our UK events calendar and provide exceptional marketing and events support to the wider business.

Your excellent stakeholder management and events planning skills will be key to your success in this role, as you will work closely with our team and agencies to develop the content and assets required, including; digital marketing, social media event plans, videos, flyers and promotional items. In addition, this role will also involve booking and organising the right suppliers, event speakers, accommodation, travel, photographer and other important aspects for our events.

What are we looking for?

  • Track record of providing exceptional marketing support and co-ordinating events and exhibitions.
  • A qualification in Marketing (either a HNC, CIM or similar) would be desirable, but not essential.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with both external customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Highly organised and capable of prioritising workload to meet deadlines.
  • Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, etc.

About the role:

Here at Canon Medical Systems, our mission is to provide medical professionals with diagnostic medical imaging solutions that support their efforts in contributing to the health and wellbeing of patients worldwide. As our Service Support Coordinator, you will ensure that our day-to-day service support activities are completed smoothly and effectively. Your excellent customer service skills and ability to react in a timely manner will be essential to this role, as you will be responsible for responding to incoming customer calls, ensuring they are logged on our CRM system and appropriately escalated to the relevant service member.

No day will be the same in this role, as you will also play a pro-active role in ensuring all services, upgrades and planned maintenance are scheduled for our customers. This will include assigning planned maintenance tasks to our engineers and co-ordinating their schedules, as well as regular communication with our customers to ensure they are updated on timescales. In addition, you will also ensure all service and commercial parts are ordered and that quotations are raised, thus ensuring maximum service efficiency.

As one of our Clinical Applications Specialists, you will be responsible for providing clinical applications support to new and existing Canon Medical Systems customers. Your clinical ultrasound knowledge will be integral to this role, as you will provide comprehensive training to clinical users and promote our range of Ultrasound equipment in demonstration and presentations to stakeholders. Extensive training on our Ultrasound products will be provided, however your enthusiasm to learn and passion for ultrasound will be key to your success in this role.

In this role, you will work in close partnership with your area’s Sales Specialist to achieve agreed sales targets by building strong relationships with customers and stakeholders. You will also represent the company at exhibitions, study days and lectures in the UK and overseas when necessary.

About the role:

Our engineering team are integral in achieving our mission by providing vital onsite and telephone support to our customers.

Due to continued growth, our South East Service team are looking to expand their X-Ray Engineering team. This is a field-based role and will involve regular travel across the South East of the UK. We are ideally looking for the individual to be based within the A3 and M40 (including Slough, Guildford & Twickenham) to support our customer installed bases. Your primary responsibility will be to provide vital planned preventative maintenance to our X-Ray equipment within the regional area, while also providing occasional support to other regions in the UK if required.

Your excellent customer service skills will prove highly valuable in this role, as you will work both individually and as part of a team to ensure our customers’ needs are met and our equipment has the maximum possible uptime in line with business performance indicators and ISO quality management systems.
