We have a fantastic new opportunity to join our Marketing team as Marketing Events Coordinator.

The primary responsibility of the position is to coordinate and support all events, both internal and external.

The specific responsibilities are:

  • To support and report on all company events, exhibitions and customer education (digital and face-to-face)
  • To support with the educational requirements for the Medical Imaging Academy website
  • To support CRM campaigns
  • To support all Marketing plans and activities

    • Support the teams to develop educational content
  • To work with others in the team to develop digital marketing and social media content for all events

  • To support marketing plans
  • To manage the SharePoint events calendar
  • To coordinate internal events

  • Stock Check of all marketing materials

 

Experience/Qualifications Required:

  • Track record of providing exceptional marketing support
  • Track record of supporting events and exhibitions
  • HND in Marketing is desirable
  • CIM qualification is desirable
  • Good standard of general education with excellent written and spoken English
  • Computer literate
  • Must be willing to travel around the UK (30-40% of the time)
  • Valid driving licence
  • Must be able to show proof of right to work in the UK

PR Executive – Business Strategy & Product PR

We have a fantastic new opportunity to join our Marketing team as PR Executive – Business Strategy and Product PR.

The primary responsibility of the position is to develop and deliver PR and marketing support to our commercial sales and service teams.  This role provides a focal point for management on matters that affect the organisation of our marketing solutions.

The specific responsibilities are:

  • To drive the PR and marketing activities through Canon Medical Solutions UK (CMSUK,) specifically focussing on but not limited to the following; our core business – Medical Technology, Artificial Intelligence solutions, Community Diagnostic Centres and Sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure marketing projects and campaigns are delivered on time, on budget with appropriate reporting

Experience/Qualifications Required:

CT Application Specialist

We have a fantastic new opportunity for a motivated, enthusiastic individual to provide clinical applications support to new and existing Canon Medical Systems customers and to promote the full range of CT and other associated equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

Support regional sales and clinical support activities ensuring modality financial targets are met

  • Responsibility for planning and delivery of initial applications training on site, pre and post installation of system
  • Development and maintenance of teaching aids and training tools to promote educational aspects of imaging.

Clinical and product improvement/complaint management

  • Liaison with UK ‘luminaries’ to support research activities and to glean and impart useful marketing information.
  • Direct liaison with the Service Department on system-related issues

Maintain close relationship with CMSE modality BU team

  • Liaison with the Business Unit in CMSE, as well as attendance at product and applications meetings, to bring back information on new products, developments and to feedback marketing information requested by, or useful to, CMSE and the UK

Follow and complete relevant processes

  • Completion of reports utilising Compass, in accordance to agreed management policies
  • To maintain records of all the above activities and sales information, and other procedures described by management under ISO9001/ISO12001 processes.

Experience/Qualifications required:

  • Qualified Radiographer – degree or DCR
  • 3 years modality specific experience with time spent on modern technology at Senior Radiographer level
  • Exceptional communicator with demonstrable presentation skills
  • Computer literate
  • Must hold current HCPC registration
  • Must hold valid proof of right to work in the UK
  • Must hold a valid driving licence
  • An enhanced DBS Disclosure will be required for this role.

Level 1 CT Field Service Engineer

MIDLANDS AND NORTH

We have an exciting new vacancy for a Level 1 CT Field Service Engineer to join our team covering the Midlands & North region.

Field based, this is a customer facing role that services, installs, maintains and modifies Canon Medical Systems equipment within the regional area, occasionally providing support to other regions throughout the United Kingdom and across Europe.

As part of the field engineering team, this role provides both onsite and telephone support to Canon Medical Systems customers.

Working individually and as part of a team this role is key in ensuring customers’ needs are met and equipment has the maximum possible uptime in line with business performance indicators and ISO quality management systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • To perform planned preventative maintenance on equipment.
  • To carry out adjustments and log retrieval on systems.
  • To attend pre-diagnosed level 1 breakdowns and parts replacements.
  • To carry out proven level 1 FMI’s within the required deadlines.
  • To carry out proven level 1 software updates within the required deadlines.
  • To provide onsite assistance (second pair of hands) as required.
  • Any other level 1 tasks as defined by the service management team.

 

Requirements for all engineers:

  • Use of OSC (oracle service cloud)
  • Use of FIX’s/ COMPASS
  • Parts handling
  • Able to demonstrate strong customer facing skills.
  • To work within and to the guidelines set out in the working expectations document.
  • To follow the escalation process as per SOP-0268 Service Call-outs.
  • To follow all relevant safety procedures and to ensure health and safety training is up to date at all times.

 

Experience/Qualifications required:

  • Good general standard of education, with excellent written and spoken English.
  • Engineering qualification (ONC level is desirable) or equivalent experience.
  • A valid driving licence.
  • Must hold proof of right to work in the UK.
  • Successful Disclosure and Barring checks (formally known as CRB checks) at basic level.

Sales Logistics Coordinator

We have a fantastic opportunity for a motivated, passionate individual to join our Logistics team as a Sales Logistics Coordinator.

The Sales Logistics Coordinator plays a vital role in the Service Department in ensuring that day to day logistic responsibilities run smoothly and effectively in supporting both internal and external customers. Working in a busy environment, your key relationships are with the Regional Sales Representatives, Application Specialists, Project Managers, Transport & 3rd Party Warehousing Businesses, to assist in delivering total service without compromise for Canon Medical Systems and its customers.

The primary responsibilities of the Logistics Coordinator role are to:

  1. Provide logistics support in parts and product handling
  2. Support the daily operations at the Canon facility in Dinnington

Key Responsibilities:

  • Action, acknowledge and respond to all items relating to logistics from both internal and external customers.
  • To manage returns of loaned, unwanted or faulty items back to Canon warehouses.
  • Process purchase orders for UL, CT, MR and XR systems, UL replacement probes and consumables via Canon’s ERP system as required.
  • To input receipts and movements of stock promptly and to keep stock records up to date for company and statutory requirements.
  • Ensure that all parts are delivered efficiently, safely, without damage and on time.
  • Assist in maintaining stores and goods inwards areas to ensure they are kept in a clean, tidy and safe condition.
  • Dispose of electronic waste in accordance with the appropriate regulations and obtaining the related Certificates of Destruction.

Experience/Qualifications required:

  • Good general standard of literacy and numeracy, with excellent written and spoken English.
  • Computer literate (minimum Excel and Word at intermediate level).
  • Previous logistic experience desirable but not essential.
  • Must demonstrate high organisational skills and be task focused.
  • Good geographical knowledge of the United Kingdom.
  • Physically fit and able as some heavy lifting is required.
  • Must hold proof of right to work in the UK.
  • Valid driving licence (occasional UK travel will be required as part of the role)
